With a bit of ingenuity, you can make a relatively cheap camera take incredible pictures. 

Using everyone’s favorite duct tape, Alexey Kljatov attached a Soviet-era macro lens to an inexpensive digital camera. While it doesn’t look pretty, the rig captured some amazing snowflake pictures.
