The Verge covered an amazing story of photographer Michael Nichols and cinematographer Nathan Williamson, who used some interesting tech for capturing these incredible photos of wild lions.

They not only used a camera “mini tank” that was able to get within inches of the lions, but they also used infrared lights and drones for flying near the lions.
