Taking quality photographs is one thing, but building your own wooden camera? Now that’s skill. On a recent trip to Afghanistan, David Lang stumbled upon a group of street photographers with incredible talent.

Using nothing but wood and scavenged materials, they construct their own versions of instant cameras. Pedestrians can pay to have a miniature ID photo printed by the photographers.
