It’s well known that primates are related to humans in many ways, but have you ever realized how their facial structure resembles ours? James Mollison was watching a nature program when he was struck by the uncanny resemblance. 

He then tried to think of a way to photograph primates in a way that’s undeniably human. In the end, he chose the familiar angle of a passport photo, showing just how similar a primate’s face is to ours.
