Inspired by a pinhole workshop taught by Justin Quinnell, Matt Bigwood made these 6-month-long exposures using a beer can pinhole camera.

You can see his setup above which entailed placing 5”x7” photo paper inside the can and taping it to a pole with gaffer tape. 

The curve you see is the sun’s path across the sky as distorted by the curve of the can.
