We were amazed when we saw this photo by Marcus Møller Bitsch! We caught up with Marcus this week and asked him a few questions.
Could you explain to us how you created the stunning image above?
‘To create this photograph I used a technique called “expansion”, which is also known as “The Brenizer Method”. It’s a technique where you stich several photos together to create one photograph. This technique results in a really low DOF (depth of field) and a higher resolution.’
What does photography mean to you?
‘It means the world to me. It’s my way to show how I see the world, how I feel and a way to tell stories. I love making conceptual photos. The process until the idea is finally created in a photo is such an interesting/beautiful journey. And especially self-portraits mean a lot to me. Taking self-portraits is my way to be alone – to get in touch with myself. It’s sort of my own therapy time.’
