Today’s Show & Teller is Lucas Regazzi who runs the popular photo-based Tumblr 1000 Scientists.
Here’s a little about Lucas and where his Tumblr name came from!
I’m Lucas Regazzi, a 16 year old student, in my last year of high school from the quiet burbs of Toronto, Canada. A little quirky passion of mine is public speaking and debating, which my Tumblr moniker, 1000scientists, derives from. The resolution was, “One poet is worth one thousand scientists” and I remember thinking, “Damn, that’s cool”.
I love fine art photography, actually just fine art in general, and think it wonderful how one image can create this dream like quality of a tangible world, how a portrait can seem extraordinary, or how a landscape can envelope you in wanderlust.
I run Caravan Magazine with a dear friend and beautiful photographer Natalie Kucken, in which we hope to release the first issue in late Fall, highlighting the works of esteemed photographers, beautiful writers and artists.
He’ll be posting rad photos all day, so make sure to watch our Tumblr!
